The sensor is measuring the OUTFLOW temperature of your radiator
and then sets the fan RPM to regulate the OUTFLOW temperature you have dialed with the black knob. So if you have set the OUTFLOW temperature 10 to 20 degrees F. below your thermostat temperature you will have rock solid engine temperature. Use a laser temperature gun at the OUTFLOW to
check your regulation. Check it parked and motor at an idle.
Also keep in mind, that three things are going to effect the fan RPM.
First is your speed, second is motor loading, and outside air temperature.
Starting your engine for the first time you will NOT see the fans start.
I do not want to hear the BS term "KICKING ON." When the radiator has reached about 140 F, +/-, the fan or fans will start to turn slowly. The fan(s) will increase RPM and reach the point of regulation that you have set with the black knob. For A/C fan speed control, there is a small pot on the side of the controller that sets this fan speed. The radiator control will over ride this fan speed.
Brushless fans: If you have this type of fan, it will fibrate at low RPM unless your purchase our 7Khz HF-125 controller.
Our controllers have Soft Start that limits inrush current from starting a dc fan motor from a dead stop. This is what brand X controller boys fail to realize and why their controllers keep burning out. Auto Cool also has a cool down timer, so when you turn off the ignition, the fans will operate for under a minute.

Hey Auto Cool Guy,
Returning customer here. I bought one of your boxes for a project car a few years back but I have a new project I need your help with. I have a Jaguar V12 and I recently replaced the radiator with a Wizard cooling unit with two 13" high performance fans. Each fan is rated about 20 amps.
YOU WILL NEED THE HF-125 FAN CONTROLLER @ 7,000 HZ IF YOU HAVE A BRUSHLESS FAN MOTOR.
If your run a brushless fan on a low frequency controller, the fan will vibrate out of control at low RPM.
BE SURE YOU HAVE FULL, COMPLETE, AND CORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS ON PAY PAL WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER! IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE YOUR CONTROLLER WILL BE RETURNED. IF NO ADDRESS PROVIDED, WE WILL HAVE TO EMAIL YOU FOR IT. THIS CAN CAUSE DELAYS IN YOUR CONTROLLER SHIPPING.

Due to lost shipment outside the USA, we highly recommend that
your package be shipped via UPS with a tracking number. Please
email for an extra cost involved. We are having problems with the
USPS and over seas mail system and frankly getting fed up with the
covid excuse and short of employees. We do not want to have your package get LOST or STOLLEN in the mail.
