My beautiful 1991 Geo Metro is what started Auto Cool Guy. I took the Geo on two cross country trips. Because of its age I found it difficult to find the parts i needed to keep it running. One of the biggest issues the Geo had was the car over heating. Repairing it seemed impossible. I used my decades of experience in electronic assembly to create a prototype controller that solved all my problems, I then began selling to local auto repair shops and had great reviews. The next step was taking Auto Cool to the global market and here we are today. Auto Cool Controllers are all over the world now. We provide 100% guarantee on all of our parts and we provide technical support 7 days a week. If you find that you are having issues with your car's thermostat give us a call and we are here to help.

How Auto Cool Controllers  Work

You have installed your auto cool controller and senseor and the outflow port of the radiator and you have no leaks. You have tested the battery, ignition, and sensor wires are installed correctly. If you put the sensor on the raditor inflow port, the fans will ne runnimg at high RPMS all the time.

The auto cool sensor sends temperature information to the controller and then the controller sets the pulse width to  the fan or fans. If you have more than one fan. contect them in parallel.

You just switched on the igniton and started the engine and its cold. Notice the fan or fans did not kick on. That is normal, they will only spin very slowly as the radiator temperature gets warm to hot. Now, as your radiator temperature is getting hotter, the RPM of your fans will spin faster. The controller will reach the pulse witdth and  the fans RPM when it's controlling the temperatyre of the radiator.

Your vechile is parked and running on idle. This is the time to test the rguation of temerature control. No need for road test, that will come later.

Once your vechile is up to temperature, now you want to get the laser temperature gun and point the red dot on the bottom of the radiator. Point the red dot on a dull black surface not a shinny chrome. In slow steps, adjust the black control knob so that the radiator temperature is about 10 to 15 degrees below your engine therostate temperature.
